Valentine is a Ph.D. student in the Neurobiology and Behavior program at Columbia University. As an undergraduate student at Barnard College, she worked in Franck Polleux’s lab at Columbia University. After earning her B.A. degree in 2017, she worked for three years as a research assistant in René Hen’s lab at Columbia University. With a focus on Systems Neuroscience, she rotated with Andrés Bendesky and Steve Siegelbaum during her first year of Ph.D. and is now focusing on maternal behavior and attachment in the Marlin lab.
Outside of the lab, she likes to go to museums, workout and do crossword puzzles.
